Alejandro is a seasoned leader and the driving force behind the Black Belt Content Experience team, where he spearheads content curation, production, translation, and validation/support for Cisco partners on a global scale. With an extensive background in LATAM, Alejandro's journey at Cisco spans over 16 years, during which he has held various key roles, including Partner Enablement Leader, Field Sales Engineering, and Technical Customer Support. Holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Costa Rica, Alejandro's career in IT began to flourish. Passionate about leadership, mentoring, and optimization through innovation, Alejandro is deeply committed to cultivating a diverse and collaborative work environment. Having been born in Costa Rica, married to a Venezuelan, and with two children born in Mexico, he fully embraces diversity and seeks to promote multi-cultural team collaboration. Currently based in Chicago, IL, Alejandro and his family revel in the vibrant atmosphere of the city, enjoying sports, road trips, and the ever-changing weather that adds to the multicultural charm. As a dynamic business leader with over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, Alejandro possesses a wealth of skills and expertise. His strong background includes partner business development, leadership, and working closely with customers, partners, and internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Engineering, and Sales. Alejandro consistently strives to achieve business objectives and deliver world-class solutions in Latin America.
